Many young students will ask, "How many sleeps till dancing"? Cecchetti Ballet Australia The "Mornington Ballet School" has always prided itself by teaching the Cecchetti Method of classical ballet. Purity of line and clarity of form as provided by this method of teaching, develops within the student, the sense of self within dance. Students may choose to participate in the examination system but this is not a prerequisite of the school. During this year children have participated in examinations, conventions and scholarships, along with the preparation for the end of year performances.
The School's 51st Annual concert was recently held in the George Jenkins Theatre at Monash University, Frankston Campus.  The concert included items of Classical Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Showtime & Contemporary performed by students of The Mornington Ballet School. A very successful year was again had by the school and all are looking forward to next year being the 52nd year of teaching for Miss Sue and the School.
The concert of 2010 was dedicated to Mrs Marie Miller (Miss Sue's Mum) without her encouragement and support the school would not have developed. Marie will be sadly missed by all teachers, students and parents 2010 was the inaugural year of the "Marie Miller Memorial Award" for dedication to dance.
